We're excited to announce that Legend has raised a $1.5M pre-seed round to build the first competitive trading platform for crypto.

Why We're Building Legend

The crypto trading experience hasn't fundamentally changed in years. Exchanges compete on fees and listings, but nobody is building for the trader who wants more than just a terminal. We believe trading should be social, competitive, and transparent.

Legend is building a platform where traders can compete head-to-head in real-time duels, climb leaderboards based on verifiable on-chain performance, and build a reputation that actually means something.

What We're Building

At its core, Legend is a perpetual futures trading platform built on Hyperliquid's L1 — giving traders the speed and liquidity of a centralized exchange with the transparency and self-custody of on-chain trading.

On top of that, we're building the competitive layer:

• The Arena — 1v1 trading duels where traders wager on their skill over a fixed time period
• Leaderboards — verifiable rankings based on real PnL, not paper trading
• Social features — follow traders, share positions, build clans, and compete as teams
• Spectator mode — watch skilled traders compete live and learn from the best

What's Next

This funding lets us build out the core platform and ship the first version of the Arena. We're heads down building and will have more to share soon.
