At Legend, we're building the arena where the world's best traders compete. To accelerate that mission, we've closed a $3.5M seed round led by Electric Capital, with participation from Amber and GSR, bringing our total funding to over $5 million.
Trading is already the world's biggest video game — millions of people staring at charts, making split-second decisions, competing for profit. But until now, there's been no real stage for it. No way to prove you're better than the next trader. No way to compete directly, transparently, on-chain.
That's what Legend is building.
Crypto trading infrastructure has matured dramatically over the past few years. Hyperliquid proved that on-chain perpetual futures can match the speed and liquidity of centralized exchanges. But user experience — and the social layer around trading — has remained an afterthought. Traders are still isolated, competing against invisible counterparties with no sense of community or identity.
Since Legend's launch six months ago, our north star has been turning trading into a multiplayer experience. One where your PnL is your reputation, your trades are your content, and competition is the core loop. In that time, Legend has become the first platform where traders can compete head-to-head in real-time duels with real wagers — all settled on-chain.
During this period, Legend has onboarded thousands of active traders, facilitated thousands of competitive matches in the Arena, and built a social graph of traders who follow, spectate, and compete against each other daily. Our community continues to grow every week.
Today's version of Legend is just the beginning. The Arena, leaderboards, clans, and social trading are the foundation — but the vision is much bigger. More competition formats. More ways to prove your skill. A platform where the best traders in crypto are recognized, followed, and compete on a stage that matches their talent.
We're thrilled to partner with Electric Capital for this next chapter. Electric has a deep understanding of what makes crypto products work at scale, and their portfolio includes some of the most important infrastructure and application teams in the space. Their conviction in the competitive trading thesis — and their belief that trading is becoming a spectator sport — made them the right partner for this stage.
If you want to compete, enter the Arena. If you want to build with us, check our open positions.
