We're hiring a Head of Asia to spearhead our expansion and community engagement across the vibrant Asian markets.

The fastest growing companies in the world are pump.fun, axiom, and hyperliquid [all of these were faster to 100M ARR than Lovable, Cursor, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.]. We believe this stresses a megatrend that the world is becoming more tokenized, more liquid, and that anything will become tradable [equities, trends, prediction markets, and more].

We're building a platform that enables the lowest latency gamified* trading experience using crypto rails. We've raised a pre‑seed from top VCs and angels in crypto and are looking to grow aggressively in Asia, where innovation in tokenized assets and gaming-inspired finance is exploding.

As Head of Asia, you'll be the driving force behind our regional strategy, fostering deep connections with users, partners, and influencers to tailor our platform for Asian audiences and accelerate adoption.

You would also be bootstrapping and building the foundation for 'e-sports for trading', and building our own 'MLG-style' concept around it.

You'll also be coalescing user feedback from these specific markets and working with our engineering team significantly to help develop the Legend platform to fit.

Preferred qualifications

  • Deep passion for the hypergamification of finance and belief in the "long degeneracy" thesis—embracing the fun, fast-paced evolution of tokenized trading
  • Strong understanding of Asian crypto markets, trading behaviors, and cultural nuances across key regions like Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, and China
  • Proven experience in event planning and execution, with a track record of hosting engaging in-person gatherings (e.g., meetups, conferences, or experiential activations)
  • Background in merchandise and brand swag creation, such as designing and distributing collectibles like plushies, apparel, or limited-edition NFTs to build community loyalty
  • Expertise in managing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influencers, including scouting, partnership negotiation, and campaign orchestration to amplify brand reach
  • Demonstrated skills in market research and product feedback loops, providing actionable insights to refine features, UI/UX, and localization for Asian users (e.g., innovative trading UIs, spectating capabilities, culturally resonant gamification elements)
  • Experience in business development, such as forging strategic partnerships with local exchanges, gaming studios, or crypto projects
  • Community management prowess, including growing Telegram groups, Discord servers, WeChat, or other social channels tailored to Asian demographics
  • Familiarity with gaming culture [e.g., grew up playing titles like PUBG, Genshin Impact, Honor of Kings, or regional MMORPGs]
  • Fluency in English and at least one major Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization and execution of high-impact in-person events across Asia, from intimate trader meetups to large-scale conferences, fostering community and driving user acquisition
  • Build the foundation for 'MLG-style' trading competitive tournaments with teams and solo traders
  • Gather and synthesize user feedback from Asian markets to inform product enhancements, ensuring our platform resonates with regional preferences in gamification, liquidity, and user experience
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of branded merchandise and collectibles (e.g., custom plushies, apparel, and digital-physical hybrids) to delight users and strengthen brand affinity
  • Manage relationships with Asian KOLs and influencers, developing collaborative campaigns that highlight our platform's unique gamified trading features
  • Expand on regional growth initiatives, including partnerships with local crypto ecosystems, targeted marketing strategies, user onboarding programs, and compliance navigation for seamless market entry
  • Build and nurture vibrant Asian communities through social media, AMAs, webinars, and grassroots engagement to boost retention and advocacy
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in Asia to guide strategic decisions and mitigate risks
