fomo Alternatives: Compare Social Trading and Autocopy (2026)

If you are looking for a fomo alternative, start with what you want to do: discover trades through a social feed, automatically follow a trader, or participate in trading competitions. Those are different workflows, and a feature list alone does not tell you which app fits.

This comparison is published by Legend and focuses on fomo and Legend, rather than ranking every trading app. Product details were reviewed on September 8, 2026. Use the linked documentation to check current features and terms before funding an account.

fomo's perpetuals launch announcement identifies Hyperliquid and Trade[XYZ] as providers and describes its social features. Shared infrastructure does not establish that two apps offer identical markets, execution, fees, or account access.

Following a trader versus automatically copying

A social feed helps you find an idea. You still need to understand whether the next step is a manual order, a one-time copy, or ongoing automation.

Legend supports both single-trade copying and Autocopy. A single-trade copy opens a position in your own account; it does not follow the original trader's later actions. Autocopy uses a separate wallet and proportionally mirrors supported position changes.

Before starting Autocopy, review the allocation, whether existing positions will be included, and any profit share. The documentation explains that stopping a copy closes mirrored positions with market orders. That means stopping is an execution decision, not simply muting notifications.

Compare the full cost of a workflow

Do not compare apps using only a headline trading fee. For the workflow you plan to use, check:

  • Trading and builder fees on orders.
  • Funding payments for perpetual positions.
  • Spread and slippage at your intended order size.
  • Any copy-trader profit share and wallet activation cost.
  • Deposit and withdrawal costs shown before confirmation.

Legend's copy-trading documentation separates builder fees from profit share. Review both when evaluating a copy allocation. No fee comparison here assumes that a competitor's current prices are unchanged.

Check eligibility before choosing an app

Availability can differ by product and location. fomo's perpetuals announcement states that its perps are unavailable to U.S. persons. That does not establish eligibility for a different service.

Review fomo's terms and Legend's terms, as well as the restrictions shown for the specific product you intend to use. An accessible website or shared trading venue is not proof that a product is available to you.

How to evaluate an alternative

Open the public profiles and documentation before depositing. Look at how clearly the app explains order sizing, costs, position management, and how to stop an automated strategy. For a leaderboard, check what its ranking measures and the period it covers; a rank by itself is not a forecast of future returns.

If your priority is ongoing copying, start with the Autocopy guide. If you want to explore competition, start with Legend ranks and the esports overview. If social discovery is your main requirement, compare the feeds and notifications directly.

Perpetuals and copied trades can lose money. Automation does not remove leverage, liquidation, or execution risk, and your results can differ from the trader you follow.
