This Cookie Policy explains how Many Labs Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize the individual who accesses or uses the Platform or Services. It explains what these technologies are and why the Company uses them, as well as the User's rights to control them.

In some cases, the Company may use cookies to collect Personal Data, or information that becomes Personal Data if combined with other information. To the extent that cookies facilitate the processing of Personal Data, such processing is governed by the Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise defined herein, all terms shall have the meaning assigned to them in the Terms of Service.

  • WHAT ARE COOKIES?
    • Cookies are small text files that are placed on the User's computer or mobile device when visiting a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting and analytics information.
    • Cookies set by the Company are called "first-party cookies". Cookies set by parties other than the Company are called "third-party cookies". Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality (e.g., advertising, interactive content, and analytics) to be provided on or through the Platform.

For further information on cookies generally, Users may visit www.aboutcookies.org or www.allaboutcookies.org.

  • WHY DOES THE COMPANY USE COOKIES?
    • The Company uses first- and third-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for the Platform to operate ("strictly necessary" cookies). Other cookies enable the Company to track and target the interests of Users to enhance the experience on the Platform.
    • The Company may use cookies to:
      • recognize the User whenever the Platform is used;
      • prevent fraud and ensure security on the Platform;
      • remember User preferences and device settings so the Platform works as expected;
      • provide visitors with the relevant version of the website;
      • assist with promotional and marketing efforts;
      • carry out research and statistical analysis to help improve content, products and services and to help understand the Users' requirements.
    • Third parties serve cookies through the Platform for advertising, analytics, and other purposes.

This is described in more detail below.

  • TYPES OF COOKIES
    • Lifespan
      • Session cookies: These are temporary and exist only for the duration of a browsing session and are automatically deleted when the User closes the browser.
      • Persistent cookies: These are stored on User's device in between sessions. These allow preferences or actions of the User to be remembered and will remain on the device until they expire, or when deleted from cache.
    • Categories of Use: The cookies placed on device fall into the following categories by their purpose:
      • Essential cookies: These cookies are essential for the operation of the Platform and for the User to use its features. For example, the Company may use these cookies to ensure fraud prevention or help the User log in to the Platform and fill in forms more easily. The Company also uses these types of cookies to ensure that the Platform is displayed correctly on the User's device. Without these cookies, services the User has asked for may not be provided.
      • Advertising cookies: These collect information about online activity of the User over time in order to personalize advertisements, allowing the Company to limit how often the User sees ads and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
      • Analytics and Customization: These gather data on how the User interacts with the Platform. They show which pages are visited most frequently and help detect any difficulties the User may have.
      • Performance and Functionality: These collect information about how the User uses the Platform and its features and are used to enhance performance and functionality. If the User chooses to disable these cookies, certain functionality may become unavailable.
  • COMPANY COOKIES
    • These are "first-party cookies" that allow the features and functionality of the Platform to work properly. The User can manually disable some of these in the browser, but this may impact their experience with the Platform.
  • THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
    • Please note that, throughout the Platform, the Company may link to other websites or applications owned and operated by certain trusted third parties. Some of these third-party websites may also use cookies which are likely to be analytical, performance or targeting cookies or similar technologies, in accordance with their own separate cookie policies. For privacy information relating to third-party websites and cookies (over which the Company has no control) please refer to their policies as appropriate.
  • HOW USER CONTROL COOKIES
    • The User has the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. The User can exercise cookie rights by setting preferences in the Cookie Consent Manager. The Cookie Consent Manager allows the User to select which categories of cookies to accept or reject. Essential cookies cannot be rejected as they are strictly necessary to provide services.
    • The Cookie Consent Manager can be found in the notification banner and on the Platform. If the User chooses to reject cookies, the User may still use the Platform, though access to some functionality and areas may be restricted. The User may also set or amend web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies.
    • Essential website cookies: These cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled. They include:
      • privy-token — Authentication session cookie set by Privy, the Company's authentication provider. This cookie identifies authenticated Users and enables secure access to the Platform. It is HttpOnly, Secure, and uses SameSite protections.
      • Privy OAuth state cookies — Temporary cookies used during the login flow when a User authenticates via Google or Twitter (X). These cookies manage the OAuth handshake and are removed after authentication completes.
      • Pusher session cookies — Used by Pusher, the Company's real-time messaging provider, to maintain WebSocket connections for live notifications, chat, and presence features on the Platform.
    • Advertising website cookies: The Company does not currently use advertising cookies or serve targeted advertisements on the Platform. If this changes in the future, this Cookie Policy will be updated accordingly.
    • Analytics and customization cookies: These cookies and similar technologies collect information about how Users interact with the Platform to help the Company understand usage patterns and improve the experience. They include:
      • Mixpanel — The Company uses Mixpanel for product analytics, including page view tracking, feature engagement, session replay, and heatmap analysis. Mixpanel primarily uses browser localStorage for persistence rather than HTTP cookies. Mixpanel may assign a unique identifier to track User interactions across sessions.
    • Performance and functionality: These cookies and similar technologies are used to monitor Platform performance, detect errors, and enhance functionality. They include:
      • Sentry — The Company uses Sentry for error tracking, performance monitoring, and session replay. Sentry may set cookies or use browser storage to correlate errors with User sessions, capture performance traces, and record session replays for debugging purposes.
      • legend_ref — A referral tracking cookie set when a User visits the Platform via a referral link. This persistent cookie (30-day expiry) is HttpOnly, Secure, and uses SameSite: Lax. It links new User registrations to the referring User.
    • Social networking: The Platform allows Users to authenticate via third-party social accounts (Google and Twitter/X) through Privy. These login providers may set their own cookies during the authentication flow, which are governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies. The Company does not embed social media sharing widgets or tracking pixels from social networks.
    • Additional cookies: The following third-party services integrated into the Platform may set their own cookies when accessed by Users:
      • MoonPay — Used for purchasing and selling USDC within the Platform. MoonPay operates within an embedded widget and may set cookies related to payment processing and fraud prevention.
