Your Autocopy allocation should be an amount you can expose to the selected trader's full strategy, including drawdowns and liquidation risk.
Legend does not prescribe one percentage for every user. The appropriate amount depends on your finances, experience, other positions, and the trader's risk profile.
Start With Your Total Risk Budget
Decide how much capital you are willing to place across all Autocopy allocations. Then divide that budget among traders based on their history, leverage, concentration, and how well you understand their process.
Keep enough margin outside Autocopy for your manual positions and account flexibility.
Review the Trader
Before choosing the amount, check:
- Maximum historical drawdown
- Typical and maximum leverage
- Largest position concentration
- Open and closed PNL
- Trading frequency
- Markets traded
- Correlation with your existing positions
- Profit-share terms
A smaller allocation is easier to evaluate when the trader has a short record or a volatile style.
Current Autocopy Limits
During Legend's current alpha:
- The production minimum allocation is $50 per trader.
- The maximum allocation is $100,000 per trader.
- A proportional copied order below $10 is skipped.
These product limits can change. The confirmation screen shows the current limits before you start.
Avoid Hidden Concentration
Autocopying several traders does not automatically diversify your account. If they all hold similar crypto exposure, the allocations can lose together.
Include one-tap copies and manual positions when reviewing total exposure.
