Legend lets you choose whether Autocopy should include positions already open when you start.
The Only copy newly opened positions setting is enabled by default. With it enabled, Autocopy skips the trader's current positions and begins when they open new ones.
Why Skip Existing Positions?
An existing position may be far from the trader's original entry. Entering later can give you a different risk-to-reward profile, liquidation distance, and eventual return.
Skipping it keeps the copied lifecycle aligned from a fresh opening trade.
When Might You Include Existing Positions?
You may choose to include them when you have reviewed each current position and still want proportional exposure at the available market price.
Your entry price can differ from the trader's, and fast markets can increase that difference.
